Course Content
By the end of the course Therapists will:

Understand the history and principles behind Hot Stone Massage. |

Understand the effects of HSM on the energies of the body and mind.

Understand the effects of cold stones, and incorporate them into the routines. |
| > |
Perform the HSM routine to a high standard, whilst abiding by health and safety. |

Identify different stones and understand their effects on the body’s energies. |
| > |
Identify the Yin /Yang balance of the client and adapt the treatment accordingly. |
| > |
Understand how the stones can be incorporated into Manicures, Pedicures, Reflexology, Reiki treatments and Indian Head Massage. |

Understand how to care for, cleanse and recharge your stones |

Complete written questions,and answer oral questions on HSM. |
